Course Content

• The course includes practical exercise in preparing the work environment on the computer. The students exercise in refueling the material from camera cards to hard disk and how to put the material in order.
• The students learn practical editing exercises that teach the principles of the film's storytelling technique. The students learn the foundation of how a scene is built up and obtain theoretical knowledge of how a film sequence is cut from an available material. The exercises are followed up with discussion about rhythm, scene and sequence building.

Assessment

The knowledge is assessed through the teacher's continuous supervision. Evaluation of all exercises and productions after completion. The film editing course consists mainly of practical and concrete film exercises.
